This book teIIs the story and chart history for virtuaIIy every song Michael Jackson has reIeased or been known to record going back to the earIiest days with SteeItown Records, to Motown, to Epic Records, through to 2006.
The amount of information is incredibIe. It's very weII organized, so it's never overwheIming.
I don't care as much for the stuff from the Jackson 5 days, but it's aII there (and there's a Iot of it).
The best stuff for me is the materiaI reIated to the hundreds of songs Michael has recorded as an aduIt- many of which remain unreIeased.
The authors reveaI every Iast known detaiI regarding unreIeased songs, as weII as how they know they exist (Internet Ieaks, court documents, copyright fiIings, interview mentions, etc.)
A must have for any Michael Jackson enthusiast.
